Astronumology

An Integrated Approach to Astrology & Numerology

Astronumology is my developing methodology for bringing Western astrology and Chaldean numerology together within a single framework.

Both systems offer sophisticated ways of exploring human potential and experience, but they do so from different perspectives. Astrology provides a detailed map of patterns, cycles, timing and development. Numerology offers another layer of insight into identity, expression and the underlying structures through which potential is experienced.

Astronumology brings these different forms of information together.

Rather than asking what astrology or numerology can tell us, I am interested in what becomes visible when we examine the relationships between them — where patterns reinforce one another, where they reveal different dimensions of the same theme, and where one system provides information that the other does not.

The result is a more integrated framework for exploring identity, potential, timing, development and meaningful change.

Why Bring the Systems Together?

I originally approached astrology and numerology as separate disciplines. Astrology came first, and its ability to illuminate patterns, developmental themes, cycles and timing gave me an extraordinarily rich framework for understanding both people and periods of change.

When I later began working with Chaldean numerology, I realised that I was looking at many of the same questions from a different perspective. Numerology revealed patterns around potential, identity, expression and direction that could complement what I was seeing astrologically — and sometimes draw attention to something I might otherwise have approached very differently.

The more I worked with both systems, the less interested I became in interpreting them independently. I wanted to understand the relationships between them: where they reinforced the same theme, where they offered different perspectives, and what became visible only when those perspectives were brought together.

Astronumology developed from that process. Rather than simply adding numerology to an astrological reading, or astrology to a numerological one, I began developing a framework for synthesis — using the relationship between the systems to create a more integrated understanding of the whole.

I think that final distinction is important enough to emphasise visually. Astronumology isn't “astrology + numerology” as a bundle of techniques. It is the synthesis that happens between them.

And that leads very naturally into the next section and your Venn diagram: Two Systems, Different Perspectives.

Two Systems, Different Perspectives

Astrology and numerology offer different perspectives on the same underlying reality. Neither needs to duplicate the other to be valuable. Their strength lies in the different kinds of information they bring into view — and in what can be learned by examining the relationship between them.

Astronumology works within the space where those perspectives meet. The aim is not simply to place two separate analyses alongside one another, but to identify connections, recurring themes and complementary information across both systems. It is through this process of synthesis that a more integrated picture can emerge.

Astronumology in Practice

Astronumology can be applied wherever a deeper understanding of identity, direction and timing may help bring greater clarity to a situation. The particular combination of techniques I use depends on the question being explored.

Identity & Personal Development

The combined framework can reveal different dimensions of potential, expression and development — helping us understand recurring patterns, natural strengths, areas of tension, and how these may be changing as you move through different stages of life.

Change, Decisions & Timing

During periods of transition or uncertainty, Astronumology can provide a wider perspective on what is developing and the cycles surrounding it. This can help distinguish between possibilities, identify more supportive periods for action, and create greater confidence around important decisions.

If you would like to explore what the methodology might reveal within your own circumstances, choose the pathway most relevant to you.

Names, Brands & New Beginnings

Numerology allows us to work directly with the structure and expression of names, while astrology adds another dimension through timing and context. Together, they can be applied to personal name changes, business and brand identities, launches, and other significant new beginnings.

Business & Strategic Development

For founders and businesses, Astronumology can be used to explore the relationship between the individual and what they are building, alongside questions of direction, development, positioning and timing. The aim is to understand not simply an immediate decision, but how it fits within the longer trajectory of the person, business or idea.

An Evolving Methodology

Astronumology is not intended to be a closed or static system. It continues to develop through my research, practical application and ongoing exploration of the relationships between different symbolic frameworks.

More broadly, I am interested in how humans use symbolic systems to recognise and model patterns in identity, development, timing and lived experience. This research is contributing to my developing work around Symbolic Intelligence — the ability to recognise, model and strategically apply symbolic structures to understand individuals, organisations, systems, timing and decision-making.

Within that wider field, Astronumology provides an applied methodology: bringing different symbolic systems into relationship and exploring what becomes possible when their information is integrated rather than interpreted in isolation.
